Palawan 10 days: Puerto Princesa and El Nido with room to move
This Palawan route chooses two mainland bases instead of adding Coron or a remote southern expedition. Puerto Princesa provides the gateway and optional Sabang excursion; El Nido provides a longer Bacuit Bay stay. The road move and final return are real parts of the holiday. The plan works best when the actual exit airport is settled before either hotel is booked.

- Suggested time
- 10 days; suggested 9 nights
- Where to stay
- Puerto Princesa city and El Nido town/Caalan
- Season and timing
- Check the forecast and route-specific official notices before each outdoor or marine outing. Regional climate patterns do not guarantee conditions on your travel date.
The short answer
Use days 1–3 for Puerto Princesa arrival and one priority excursion, day 4 for the confirmed road move, days 5–8 for El Nido with flexible marine and land days, day 9 for the actual departure-side return and day 10 for leaving. PPS and ENI are different gateways; verify current carrier and airport arrangements for your flight.
Days 1–3: city arrival and one park or bay priority
Arrive through the verified PPS ticket and take the confirmed transfer to the city base. Keep the first dinner close to the room. Choose either a Sabang Underground River outing or a Honda Bay excursion as the first priority, after checking permits, pickup and current operation.
Sabang is not a city-centre walk. The park notice checked on 3 October 2026 means room bookings do not automatically secure a park visit. Preserve another city or food day if the excursion changes, instead of assuming every named tour will run.
Day 4: move north without adding an excursion
Arrange the actual vehicle and El Nido receiving address. Keep a full day for the road transfer and its meals. Confirm the selected vehicle’s departure and expected arrival directly. Contact the property if a delay changes your arrival.
Cadlao Resort is at Sitio Caalan, Barangay Masagana, on the town side of El Nido. Ask about the final luggage approach and any tide-related access issue. A location near the bay does not imply that your booked tour boards at the hotel.

Make time for the local food
What to eat and where to look
Kinilaw
Kinilaw is listed as a ceviche appetizer; ask about the fish and actual preparation.
- Where to look
- Cadlao’s Jinjer restaurant at Sitio Caalan, Barangay Masagana, El Nido; confirm today’s menu and your final approach.
- Fit it into your day
- Order on an El Nido land or hotel day. Pair the appetizer with a main dish, or ask about portions when choosing soup or noodles.
Check actual ingredients, preparation and suitability; no stock or dietary guarantee.
Fish sinigang
The restaurant’s catch-of-the-day menu offers sinigang as a fish preparation.

Days 5–8: Bacuit Bay with a land alternative
Put the priority verified tour early in this block and keep another day movable. The island-hopping listing checked on 3 October 2026 is an actual El Nido product with an El Nido meeting point; it is not a Puerto Princesa day tour. Confirm current meeting details, local access, fees and equipment terms before paying.
Use the remaining days for a quieter hotel/land plan and meals checked at actual restaurants. Cadlao’s restaurant menu lists kinilaw, fish sinigang and pancit bihon, with preparation and availability still to confirm. Do not infer dietary suitability from the names.

Days 9–10: use the actual exit airport
If flying from PPS, arrange the road return on day 9 and a city overnight before departure. If flying from ENI, confirm the current operator, onward gateway and final approach and keep the preceding day compatible with it. Old AirSWIFT and NAIA assumptions are not a substitute for the current ticket.
Day 10 is the booked exit. PAGASA warnings and operator notices still matter before any marine outing; a listed route does not guarantee future operation. Retain the return funds and booking documents even if the activity plan shrinks.

Practical questions
Is Coron included?
No. It uses a different gateway and needs another route.
Does a Sabang hotel guarantee a park permit?
No. Confirm the current permit process separately.
Does the El Nido tour start in Puerto Princesa?
No. The product body checked on 3 October 2026 places its meeting point in El Nido.
Can I choose ENI instead of PPS for departure?
If the current flight supports it; check operator and onward airport and rebuild the exit.

Does this experience fit your route?
Fits one early Bacuit Bay day during the El Nido stay; leave PPS, the northbound road move and the exit ticket separate. Confirm the provider’s current meeting or pickup instructions and inclusions before booking.
