How much does a trip to Singapore cost? 2027 budget for 7 days
Singapore has a reputation for being expensive, and its hotel rooms are: a simple private double near Chinatown costs more than a mid-range hotel in Bangkok or Hanoi. Everything else is easier on the wallet than it looks. A hawker lunch costs a few dollars, the MRT is cheap and a five-day pass covers every train and basic bus, and the Botanic Gardens, the temples and the Supertree show are free. This guide prices a full week at three levels, with every room, meal, ride, ticket and SIM included, then adds the flight from Europe.

- Suggested time
- 7 days, 6 nights in one hotel near Outram Park and Chinatown.
- Where to stay
- Outram Park, on the edge of Chinatown, for all six nights.
- Season and timing
- Priced for 16-22 February 2027, the driest month of the year in Singapore's climate records, though showers are still possible.
The short answer
A 7-day trip to Singapore in February 2027 costs about SGD 1,190 per person on a budget (about EUR 830), SGD 1,840 mid-range (about EUR 1,280) or SGD 3,080 in comfort (about EUR 2,150), for two people sharing a room, with all meals, transport, the Mandai parks, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa, a SIM and a 10% buffer. A return flight from London adds about GBP 700-950 per person.
The totals
| Level | Per person, about SGD | For two, about SGD |
|---|---|---|
| Budget | 1,190 (EUR 830) | 2,380 |
| Mid-range | 1,840 (EUR 1,280) | 3,680 |
| Comfort | 3,080 (EUR 2,150) | 6,160 |
These totals cover everything on the ground for the whole week: the room, three meals and drinks every day, every train, bus, taxi and boat, the paid sights on the route, a local SIM and a 10% buffer for snacks, tips and small surprises. Only the international flight is separate, and it is priced at the end. Euro figures use the European Central Bank rate of 20 October 2026 (EUR 1 = SGD 1.4338).

See Singapore entry requirements. Where a hotel or restaurant publishes no price for these dates, the figure is an estimate marked "about", based on the rates and menus we could see.

Flights and the total with flights
Singapore Airlines flies direct from London Gatwick, with Economy returns from GBP 647 for travel between 11 January and 11 March 2027 if booked by 2 November 2026; Cathay Pacific shows February fares from GBP 824 via Hong Kong. Allow about GBP 700-950 per person (about SGD 1,190-1,620) for an economy return on these dates. From Frankfurt, Lufthansa shows February returns from EUR 833, so allow about EUR 950-1,250. Airport charges are included in the fare.
With the London flight, the whole trip comes to about SGD 2,380-2,810 per person on a budget, SGD 3,030-3,460 mid-range or SGD 4,270-4,700 in comfort. Many restaurants add a 10% service charge and 9% GST to the bill; tipping on top is optional, though the tourism board says it is becoming more common for good service. The buffer covers it.
