Luzon 10 days: Manila, Clark and a Baguio stay
This ten-day Luzon itinerary chooses an urban-and-highland road route rather than trying to combine all northern destinations. Manila supplies heritage context, Clark and Angeles provide a distinct central-Luzon stop, and Baguio gives several usable highland days. Banaue, Sagada and the Ilocos coast belong to another longer or differently focused journey.

- Suggested time
- 10 days; suggested 9 nights
- Where to stay
- Ermita or Intramuros, Clark/Angeles and Session Road in Baguio
- Season and timing
- Check the forecast and route-specific official notices before each outdoor or marine outing. Regional climate patterns do not guarantee conditions on your travel date.
The short answer
Allocate days 1–3 to Manila, day 4 to the Clark/Angeles road move, day 5 to a local central-Luzon day, day 6 to the confirmed Baguio road approach, days 7–8 to Baguio, day 9 to the departure gateway return and day 10 to leaving. Verify the vehicle or carrier for each leg; no direct airport-to-Baguio timetable is asserted.
Days 1–3: Manila heritage from a real city base
The Manila Hotel address at 1 Rizal Park establishes an Ermita anchor; the Bayleaf operator provides a separate Intramuros example. Choose one and confirm the exact approach from MNL. Use the first full day for a compact heritage block with current site access checked.
A second full day can focus on the National Museum area or another district rather than repeating a long driving tour. Leave a seated meal and preparation time before the road move. The national menu foods below are Manila gateway examples, not Cordillera specialties.
Days 4–5: Clark and Angeles are a distinct stop
Arrange day 4 as the full road journey to your selected Clark/Angeles accommodation. Clark CRK is a real regional airport, but this itinerary does not require a flight between Metro Manila and Clark. Confirm the hotel municipality and pickup address instead of treating every Clark-area listing as one place. Midori Clark Hotel’s Kalayaan Street/C.M. Recto Avenue address is a real Clark Freeport anchor; an Angeles meal still needs its own road approach.
Choose a day 5 outing after checking its actual operator or city access. Angeles food research supports sisig as a regional lead; ask about the current restaurant preparation. Keep the afternoon suitable for the next road departure.

Make time for the local food
What to eat and where to look
Sinigang
Choose a pork, boneless milkfish, shrimp or salmon-with-miso soup version from Gerry’s Filipino menu.
- Where to look
- Gerry’s operator lists an Ayala Circuit Makati branch; choose this or another actual branch whose address fits your mainland base, then confirm its current menu.
- Fit it into your day
- A seated main meal with rice after arrival or between excursions.
Ask about broth, seafood, sauces and any ingredient exclusions.
Beef kare-kare
A beef main dish on Gerry’s Filipino menu; ask the kitchen about its sauce, condiments and nut ingredients.
- Where to look
- Gerry’s operator lists an Ayala Circuit Makati branch; choose this or another actual branch whose address fits your mainland base, then confirm its current menu.
- Fit it into your day
- A shared restaurant dinner; order an amount that leaves room for the next day’s plans.
Ask specifically about nuts, sauce, condiments and preparation.
Banana turon
A banana dessert on Gerry’s menu, to order after a main meal rather than as provisions for a long boat day.
- Where to look
- Gerry’s operator lists an Ayala Circuit Makati branch; choose this or another actual branch whose address fits your mainland base, then confirm its current menu.
- Fit it into your day
- Optional sweet after lunch, not a substitute for provisions on a boat day.
Check wrapper, filling, dairy and other ingredients with the seller.
Days 6–8: Baguio without a rushed mountain loop
Use day 6 for the confirmed road transfer to Baguio. Hotel Veniz at Session’s actual 54 SB Building address grounds a central option. Camp John Hay has separate operator-verified hotels and a different approach. Choose the base for the walking and vehicle use you intend.
Spend days 7–8 on checked city park, museum and meal blocks. La Trinidad is a separate municipality; any strawberry-farm outing requires its own seasonal and access confirmation. Read the city’s vehicle coding information if relevant, without importing old pandemic travel-pass rules.

Days 9–10: return to the booked airport
Use day 9 for the road return to CRK or MNL according to the ticket you actually hold. Confirm the carrier or driver and keep a usable overnight near that gateway. A generic airport transport-category page does not establish direct service to every northern town.
Day 10 is departure. If road or weather conditions alter the plan, remove a sightseeing block and preserve the exit. Adding Sagada or Banaue after Baguio would create another route, with additional road and local-access decisions.

Practical questions
Does this itinerary visit Banaue or Sagada?
No. They need a different mountain route rather than a last-day addition.
Is La Trinidad the same municipality as Baguio?
No. Treat a farm visit as a separately checked excursion.
Is a direct CRK–Baguio bus verified?
No date-specific service is established here; book an actual confirmed carrier or driver.
Which airport should I depart from?
The airport on your actual ticket; CRK and MNL require different return plans.
